Emiliano Perez is a designer who was born in Guatemala City and raised in Los Angeles. Currently in his final semester of undergraduate at SCI-Arc, he won the LAUSD award granting him a full ride. He has done an exchange program in 2024 at Angewandte, studying under Greg Lynn.
In his early years, his work existed in this phygital space exploring the inbetween the digtial and the physical. Now much of his work is about documenting and exploring life in different scales. From how we interact in a space, to our trash, and even internet archeology.
Currently Emiliano is doing his thesis on creating Medium Sprawl in suburbia, incorporating material waste and materials that age and create a life of their own.
